What Do You Have to Lose?

July 16, 2015

Today’s readings: Exodus 3:13-20 and Matthew 11:28-30

God told Moses: I am concerned about you…so I have decided to lead you up out of the misery

Jesus told His disciples: Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest

The same message rings true today: We don’t have to fight the fight alone. God wants to help. He is concerned about us and offers to relieve us of our burdens. He recognizes that we are drained and at our breaking point, and encourages us to seek rest in Him.

You’re spinning your wheels anyway…what do you have to lose?
